Adventures Outside the Classroom
Field trips provide students with a window to the real world that they don’t get in the classroom. Students can generate ideas for future careers and volunteer work, ideas and opportunities when they travel outside their own neighborhoods. As a result of participation, students retain more knowledge, and awaken the desire in a child to try new things and begin to spark new interests and passions. We believe that no child should miss out on the opportunity due to funding.
Dressed for Success
Children grow academically and physically every year. Sometimes, they grow a couple of sizes in one school year. Carolyn’s Kids Foundation will purchase and develop partnerships to provide students with the following…
- Hygienic Supplies
- Belts and other Accessories
- Coats/ Hats/Gloves/Scarves Undergarments
Students participation in activities outside the classroom help build a well- rounded individual. Every child is unique and born with a talent, through programs students have the opportunity to find their niche, learn leadership and teamwork skills, and develop as individuals. Carolyn’s Kids will act as a resource for school communities but referring reliable sources, programs, etc. to schools. Also, where needed assist with funding or supplies for programming to take place in the school/community.
Social Emotional Development
Children need to have opportunities to become aware of self, able to manage their behavior and be aware of others around them, establish and maintain healthy relationships, and learn foundational decision making skills. Carolyn’s Kids Foundation partnering with other organizations will provide conferences, workshops, etc. to assist children in addressing these areas so their transition to the next grade level is smooth.
Carolyn’s Kids Foundation will provide those deserving students with funding to assist in paying 8th grade and high school activity/book/uniform fees. These funds are paid directly to the school to ensure the student has no debt upon entry to school.
And We Are Just Getting Started.
